Skin Care Shouldn't Stress you out

Reduce stress or anxiety

Stress terribly affects your skin. In order to keep your skin looking good reduce your everyday stress and anxiety as part of your skin care routine. Did you know that stress causes your body to make hormones like cortisol? Cortisol, tells glands in your skin to make more oil. That’s the reason why you have oily skin and you’re more prone to acne and other skin problems.

Uncontrolled stress stops your skin’s natural ability to repair daily damage and often inhibits your capacity to get the sleep you need for fresh looking skin. Help your skin by taking some steps in reducing and controlling stress in your daily life.

 Sleep a lot

Get at least eight hours of sleep. You always read this advice from any magazine or beauty article, even though its a cliché an adequate restful sleep every night is really important. Most skin problems root cause is lack of sleep. Getting a good night’s sleep is one highly effective beauty treatment for your skin which is absolutely free.

Moisturize your whole body

Make sure that your skin care routine includes your whole body. This involves the application of a body  lotion after every shower. You must not also neglect your feet, your feet need a strong glycerine based lotion that will keep them from getting too dry. Try exfoliating at least every once in a while to take off your dead skin.
